(ADPnews) - Sep 22, 2009 - Amazonas Energia, a Brazilian company that came out of the merger of power distributors Ceam and Manaus Energia, invested BRL 8.5 million (USD 4.7m/EUR 3.2m) in the upgrade of two substations in Manaus, the capital of northern Amazonas state.
The upgrade includes the installation of three new transformers at the Cidade Nova and Distrito Industrial power substations which was completed on September 20.
