The West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission is seekinginput on proposed rules that could help WVU students save money ontextbooks.
The rules were approved for a 30-day public comment period thismonth.
They were posted at the Secretary of State's Web site for reviewthis week.
The rules require governing boards at each of the state'scolleges and universities to follow state and federal laws regardingtextbook adoption, post textbook information online, establish atextbook affordability committee and adopt guidelines for choosingtextbooks, among other provisions.
