CHILDREN sitting their Year 6 Standard Assessments Tests (SATs)were given a healthy start to their stressful day, thanks toWaitrose. Michelle Field and Gina Rickaby popped into Herne PrimarySchool offering complimentary food to around 30 pupils. Mrs Rickaby,who runs the Crowborough store's internet shopping and homedeliveries department, said: "Kids are understandably nervous aboutexams but hopefully we set them up for the day.
"We provided a selection of cereals, toast, pain au chocolat,yoghurts, fresh fruit and milk."
The school's grateful executive headteacher Tracy Robinson said:"We are really grateful to Waitrose for supporting our Year 6 SATsBreakfast Club again this year. The children thoroughly enjoyed adelicious healthy breakfast that really set them up for the day."
