Kid USA and the Altamont Fair have a lot in common.
Neither is exactly young -- the fair is 107, the Kid admits to being around 40, no spring chicken as wrestlers go. But they were both spruced up and holding up in the wilting 90-degree heat Tuesday. The fair had its new roads, landscaping, coats of paint and a back-to-basics approach. The Kid sported skin-tight blue briefs with white stars and quasi-Fabio long golden locks and dimpled chin.
And both seem able to take a hard fall and still come back.
